The horrors aren't over: FX has renewed American Horror Story for a seventh season of blood, guts and ghosts. Showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk will return to helm the series they created in 2011.

John Landgraf in a press release. “The sustained success through six installments only proves how intensely the series resonates with fans."

The premiere of American Horror Story: Roanokewas the third most-watched telecast in FX history in core adult demographics. The current season ties together the previous five's seemingly disparate narratives.
