Reddit as a company has been a long-time supporter of net neutrality and lobbied for it in part because it affects its business as an internet company. Net neutrality prevents internet services providers from slowing down sites unless they pay for faster access.。

Huffman noted that over the last week users made 50,000 unique posts and more than 350,000 comments related to net neutrality that generated over 21 million votes.。
