After Hillary Clinton left the 9/11 ceremony early on Sunday after reportedly becoming overheated, her campaign stated that the Democratic presidential candidate had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday. 。
Following this announcement, many anticipated a brutal response from Republican critics, especially Donald Trump, who in the past, has claimed her current state of health makes her unfit to serve in the White House. 。

, "The coughing fit was a week ago, so I assume that was pneumonia also ... Something's going on but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we'll be seeing her at the debate." 。

In the past, Donald Trump has been especially accusatory of Clinton hiding serious health problems. After he called attention to a coughing fit she endured during a speech on Labor Day -- which he referenced in the interview -- many assumed he would use this diagnosis as more fuel for his campaign. 。
Instead, Trump took a different route.。
Later on Monday, Hillary Clinton wrote a message to Twitter followers concerned with her health saying she's andcious to get back to campaigning, "feeling fine and getting better."。
